Traversing

- Cord clip is placed above the cord weight or tension device to prevent a hazardous cord loop
- The cord clip should be properly anchored to the wall or window jamb in accordance with installation instructions and consistent with requirements of the American National Standard for Window Covering Safety ANSI-WCMA A100.1.

Rotation

- Gears provide no less than 8-to-1 mechanical advantage and keep louvers fixed until reset by control
- No cord or 1-to-1 ratio mechanisms are allowed.
- Spur and worm gear slips under extreme loading and is able to be realigned with no damage
